MY JESUS- THE ANSWER!!

Whom shall I fear, when God is for me?!

What more do I need, when I have His promises that never lie?!
What more can I ask, when I have His grace that covers me?!
What else would i desire to have, when I have His mighty arms to find refuge?!
How can I be worried, when God is at my right side?!
Where would I run, when I have my Heavenly Father's feet?!
Where would I go, when I have My Lord's Holy presence?!
Why would I question, when He makes me like pure Gold?!
Why should i be wearied, when my ways are not hidden from Him?!
Whom do I need for my defense, when I have Him as my witness?!
Who can hide the truth, when His righteousness is like majestic mountains?!
Why would I be complaining, when I have the Joy of the Lord as my strength?!
How can I fall, when Jesus is my foundation?!
How can I say that my just claim is passed over without regard, when I have God who neither sleeps nor slumbers?!
Why should I think I am helpless, when my help comes from the maker of heaven and earth?!
How will I fail, when I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me?!
How will I be ashamed, when He is my hope?!
What can defeat me, when His blood is sprinkled on me?!
How will my prayers go unanswered, when He is my delight?!
Why would I be confused, when my God is perfect in His ways?!
How can the world overcome me, when I am born of God?!
Why should I feel missed, when i have a chance to live eternally?!
Why should I be bothered about the world that calls me unlucky, when my God calls me BLESSED?!
What can separate me, when I am confident in Him even if He decides to kill me?!
How can pride overtake me, when I don't understand even one of His miracle-works?!
How will I doubt, when I don't know what He is doing?!
Why do I talk so much, when I know very little about this 'BIG' GOD?!
All I know is that Jesus lives in me!! The one who is in me is greater than who is in the world!! :)

THE CHRISTMAS STORY!- JOY TO THE WORLD

It's Christmas time again!! The season of joy and hope. The season of celebration. Everywhere we look, we find colorful lights and stars, bells and hollies, decorated christmas trees and houses in festive mood. Hah! Everything in red and green! But is this christmas all about?!
Christmas is indeed a season of great joy! It brings us tidings of comfort and peace. Christmas is when we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, remembering God's great love for mankind. Jesus, the savior of the whole world is the hero of the season. The real joy of Christmas is when we make Jesus the reason for this season. Jesus is the light of our Christmas, the joy of our hearts and the only hope of the world.

The first Christmas! :
Around 2000 years ago, there in a little town of Bethlehem, the king of glory and of the whole world, God's own son was born. No, not in a palace as you would  think but in a stable, as a poor and a humble little baby. His name is Jesus. The angels came down from heaven and sang on that night. The Shepherds came and worshipped the new born King. The wisemen brought presents to the Messiah. But why was Jesus born in a barn?! Because He wanted to show that He came to the world for everybody! Yeah! For the rich and the poor, the weak and the strong, the short and the tall, the black and the white and for you too!!

"For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder. And His namr will be called WONDERFUL, COUNSELOR, MIGHTY GOD, EVERLASTING FATHER, PRINCE OF PEACE." (Isaiah 9:6)

Why should God come to this world as a human? Why should Jesus be born? Does the world really in need of a savior?

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life." (John 3:16).The Bible says that we all are born with a sinful nature. Through the disobedience of Adam and Eve, sin inherited the world. All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. There is none righteous, no, not one.( Romans 3:10-12). The wages of sin is death but the gift of God through Jesus is eternal life.The only way we can get rid off this sin is through Jesus and His blood. "For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so also by one Man's(Jesus) obedience many will be made righteous."( Romans 5:19)

Jesus came to the world to die for the sins of the world and deliver us from the power of decieving satan. He came as the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world!! He died for us that sin maynot enslave us. "He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed." Are you thinking why should Jesus do all this? He did because He loves you and He wants to give you the eternal life and peace. He wants you to became a partaker of His kingdom. "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."( Romans 5:8) Jesus demonstrated His love and compassion for you on the cross to redeem you and make you as His loved possession.

When we confess with all our hearts and ask Jesus to come into our hearts, He will forgive us because He is only One who has the right to forgive our sins. He alone is the God of salvation, infact He alone is the AUTHOR of salvation. He is the only God who died for mankind and He is the way to eternal life. Jesus said, "I AM THE WAY, THE TRUTH AND THE LIFE. NO ONE COMES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THROUGH ME". (John 14:6). Heaven is the place we belong to and we dont belong here just like Jesus didnot belong to this world. Isn't your heart touched as you gaze first on that humble birth scene, then hear the cry from that cross? It was for you!!

Where is Jesus now? Is He ever gonna come back? If yes, when will He be coming? What is He gonna do by coming back?!

JESUS who died for us, rose up on the third day defeating the power of death and conquering the grave. He was taken up to heaven. He is now ALIVE FOREVERMORE!! He is with us, here in our midst and with the people who worship Him to the ends of the age. He never leaves us alone. The Lord said to David, "I will make sure that one of your descendants will always be a king". As promised the Everlasting King Jesus Christ came down to earth as a little baby to die for the sins of mankind, leaving His throne in heaven. He would return to His throne and rule His own people with righteousness forever. He is gonna come back again not as a humble baby in the manger, not as lamb to be slained but as the KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS to judge the world with fairness and render to each one according to his deeds! Yeah!! He is coming soon.
"....time shall delay no longer".(Revelation 10: 5,6)
"He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still. And behold I am coming quickly and My reward is with me to give to everyone according to his work. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. Blessed are those who do His commandments,that they may have the right to the tree of life, and may enter througth the gates into the city. But outside are dogs and sorcerors and sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters and whoever loves and practices a lie."( Revelation 22: 11-15)

Do you want to be called as the Children of God?! Here's what you should do.

"But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become the children of God, to those who beleive in His name." (John 1:12). So when you believe that Jesus is the son of God and receive Him in your hearts, you will be called as God's children.
"Listen! I am standing and knocking at the door. If you hear my voice and open the door, i will come in and we will eat together." (Revelation 3:20). When you open your hearts to Jesus and heed to His voice, He comes in and dwells in you! Yes, He gives you the authority and previlege of being called as the Children of the Most High. You will become the temple of God. He also promises to give you the eternal life, when you abide in Him and His words till the end. And till He comes back to get you to Him, He seals you with His Holy Spirit. What more can you ask?! Being a child of God would be the greatest blessing you could ever receive!! Yeah!!

What can I give Jesus,
Poor as I am?
If I were a shepherd,
I would bring a lamb;
If I were a wise man,
I would do my part;
Yet what can I give Him?

So what are you going to gift Jesus this Christmas?! No better gift than giving yourself just as you are!

"Donot be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great Joy which will be to all people."( Luke 2:10).Jesus came to bring joy to ALL people by redeeming them through His blood. He brought life and light to all who were dead and living in darkness. The story of the world meeting the word-God in flesh is a story of the whole world finding their joy in God!! "And the word became flesh and dwelt among us."( John 1:14).The world found the real joy through Jesus Christ. The world didnot give it to us and so the world cannot take it away!

How can you have a meaningful Christmas?!

The true meaning of christmas is the celebration of the greatest demonstration of God's love for His people, the people of the world. The central truth of Christmas story is 'God's love'. The child of Christmas is GOD - JESUS CHRIST.
This season should be the time when we find joy in GIVING with love. 'Giving' brings in the spirit of Christmas. We give as a remembrance of all that Jesus has given to us. It is more blessed to give than to receive. Let us come out of our busy lives and become more focussed and interested in people- all the needy, the poor and the thirsty SOULS! Let our gifts contain eternal value, leading people into light, joy and happiness, bringing them out of darkness. Go tell it on the mountains over the hills and everywhere, what we have received freely with selflessness and love.
As the Christmas season and the spirit of the celebration surrounds us, may we be like the star that guided the wise men to the savior. Let the world meet the savior in their hearts and lives through us!

Let us not make Christmas a season but a celebration of Jesus being born in our hearts everyday! Rejoicing in His birth every moment and enjoying His presence all the time! Only then CHRISTMAS becomes a true celebration in our lives! A christian cannot run his life with yesterday's glory!!
"You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of JOY; at Your right hand are PLEASURES forevermore."(Psalm 16:11)

FAITH THAT WINS!!

There was a man in a certain town. He was a pious worshipper of God and meditated on God's word all the time. Everytime he wanted something he would pray fervently, then write his prayer in a piece of paper, put them in a bag and would never think about it again. The bag had a label that said 'All done by Jesus' written on it. God answered him as soon as he finished praying, looking at the faith he had. One day as he prayed for a certain request, wrote his supplication in a paper and did as he would do usually. But he didnot recieve a reply from God like before. He felt forsaken. He was disappointed and his faith went shaky. He waited and waited for the answer from God with a flickering faith. At one point of time, he went weary and he took that paper out of the bag and started to cry looking at it. He prayed again but was not ready to put that paper back into the bag and leave the thing to God as he doubted.

Dear reader, let us ask ourselves this question.
"How many times do we take things in our own hands rather than giving and leaving the matter to God when he tarries to answer?!"
We think we are too brainy that we take things in our hands and fail to listen to God's voice which says "My dear child, I am in control, I will take care!". No! We ought to believe God's word and be  fully convinced by what He says and not by what the situation or the people around us say!! Trust and faith in God includes faith in His timing!! Yea, if you believe God and His word then you must continue to have that confidence till the end, until God answers. It may seem to take much time for its fullfillment but why should you be bothered about the time for you know that your God will never lie.

"For all the promises of God in Him are yes and in Him Amen(so be it), to the glory of God through us". (2 Corinthians 1: 20)

God tarries to answer because He wants to reveal His glory. He wants to give you the best! So all you have to do is wait on the Lord till the appointed time, the perfect timing of God. You will never be ashamed!! Yes for sure!

"Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and whose hope is the Lord". (Jeremiah 17: 7)

You may be expecting an answer for your sickness, job, career, education, loss or injustice. All you have to do is wait and see God working on your behalf! Cast everything that trouble you on the Lord Jesus Christ who cares for you!

"Cast your burden on the Lord and He shall sustain you; He shall never permit the righteous to be moved". (Psalm 55: 22)

When you end up at something wearied and realize you can do nothing about it, all you have to do is simply hold your peace and say to yourself, "This is something which my God is gonna handle. The battle is going to be His and i am gonna just lean back and rest -fully convinced on what He has promised, as i know that the unwearied God of mine will always win!!" Obviously, you will win too!! 

Being helpless is Good because that is when God can come in and help you!!

You have to just sit back and watch the show!! You don't have to go to the back of the stage and see how everything is done. Your ways are not His ways. Your thoughts are not His thoughts.

"For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways," says the Lord. "For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts". (Isaiah 55: 8,9)

All you have to do is blindly trust God clinging to His promises. Ask Jesus to increase your faith. Trust in His mercies! Find rest in Him alone saying everthing is done! GBU!! :) :)

TO BE A PRINCESS......

"Once in a kingdom, there lived a king. The king had a beautiful little daughter. She loved wearing her little golden shiny crown which had sparkling stones of white and red. She had everything she wanted. She had frocks of red, blue, pink and white with cute ribbons on it and Golden shoes decorated with silver strings. The king loved His precious little daughter more than anything that he was ready to lose His kingdom for her. But the little princess was not really happy......you know why?!........." ha!.....what do i see?! Hmm...eager lil childlike faces reading their bedtime story....! I am not going to tell you the story now! But i need to tell you something that is really really important!!!

Everyone loves stories! whether its being read or heard!! I love to hear them, even if i have heard it 100 times before. I have read and heard a number of fairy tales. I remember fighting for the books in the school library. Lol! Hahah!....We wer adorable lil ones dressed in cute maroon pinafore!! Every little girl would have dreamt of becoming a princess! you know, with a shiny golden tiara, a beautiful sparkling long gown and a fantancy creature, may be a unicorn or a magic horse or a lil fairy!! I thought as a kid that becoming a princess or a fairy is kind of a miracle, a supernatural thing and i was convinced that it cannot happen in real life.
But one day, Christ, the miracle worker, the supernatural power found me, when i was a young ambitious teenager! He saved me through His priceless-sinless-precious-Holy blood and told me that i am His daughter!! And because i know that i am the daughter of the King of Kings, i am a PRINCESS FOR REAL and i don't need a crown or a royal robe to show or prove! :D Yeah!! I am the beloved daughter of the Most High King Lord Jesus!!! The apple of His eye!!

Jesus loves everybody! Yes! He loves you too, even if it is hard for you to believe! He shows no partiality. He doesn't have any favorites. He loves each and everyone with the same unfailing love!! The blood that was shed on that cross was for everybody. Oh! Taste and see the love of the everlasting Father!! He is calling you with His wide-opened arms, ready to comfort you with His embrace and to bless you and to pour His Grace and goodness on you beyond your imagination!! Yes! YOU!!

Our God took the crown of thorns so that we should wear a golden crown with pearls and gems on it. His garments were taken so that we should wear a spotless holy white robe when we go to Him. He walked carrying the cross so that we should walk in the golden streets of heaven. He was given a sour drink so that we should drink the living water. He heard all the spiteful talk so that we should not be hurted by any spiteful tongue. He took all the shame so that we should boldly enter His gates with our heads lifted high. He bore all the pain so that we should never feel pain. He suffered because He loves us so much and He cannot watch us suffer. His sweat was shed as blood because He never wants to see us with tears even at times when we can't stop them rolling down and He wants to give us the everlasting happiness. He took all the wounds for us to be healed. He stood in between the thieves for our souls to stand secured. He was nailed at calvary so that we should be free!! The only JUST God was made sinful for us to be called 'righteous'. He died in our place so that we should LIVE eternally!! He paid everything on that cross!!! Telelestai! PAID IN FULL INDEED!!

Even today, the Living God, who rose up from death and won victory over it, the ALPHA and the OMEGA, wants you to realize who you are!! The king of kings is ready to adopt you and call you and treat you and bless you as His dearest princess!! But are you ready to go to Him and give your life?! Think about it!

Continuing in the royal position as a princess is not always easy. Sometimes we may have to go through circumstances that make us think we are not, even if we are people with extra-ordinary faith. But i tell you that its because of those situations of pain, loss, suffering, shame and failure, we find 'the real princess' in us! Be happy for all those hard times and don't dare to leave God and try things on your own. He will never leave you. If He brought you to it then He will bring you through it. Remember, valleys take us to the next peak. 'Wilderness' experiences, lead us to the land of milk and honey. People around you will know that the Spirit of the Most High God dwells in you, when you really walk with Christ! His light will shine forth to reveal His glory!! You shall lack nothing as you declare with all your heart that you are the daughter of the king of kings. Always have a heart of gratitude, giving thanks in everything, even when things don't happen our way. GOD'S AGENDA is not our agenda!! His wisdom is unsearchable and He knows what He is doing even if we don't understand His ways. Altogether for good!

We have to understand that we have been called to live a royal life in Christ, right from the time we received the spirit of adoption to call God as our Father, the very second we decided to follow Jesus. The enemy knows that we were created for royal greatness and tries continually to keep us from understanding it and puts us into situations were its hard to beleive that God is with us.  Success as a princess depends on the life we lead carrying the name of Jesus and fulfilling the desires of Our King, doing His will and remaining as a witness to the end of the earth receiving His Holy spirit, abandoning the sparkly and shiny things that demand our attention. Always remember, who we are in Christ and who Christ is in us!! Follow Him and trust Him in anything and everything! Work to seek the unseen kingdom and His righteouness to be a crown of glory and a royal diadem in the hands of the Lord. Make use of the oppurtunities. Jesus loves you!! Be the real Princess!! GBU! To God, all the glory!! Amen.

THE BIBLE IS NOT A STORY BOOK!

The Holy Bible is full of great promises God has made to His children. Yeah! That's us!!
The Bible has 66 books and it is divided into the Old Testament and the New Testament. I happened to hear from a well-known preacher, a wonderful example for how the Bible was written.
A space shuttle, with its crew, is in the space and it is operated as per the instructions given by the crew in the ground station. Now, the operation is performed by the hands of the people in the space shuttle, but what they operate is determined by the people in the ground station. Similarly, the Bible was written by 40 God chosen people as told and guided by the Holy Spirit. The authors of the Bible used their language and style to write (hands used to operate the shuttle in space) but as directed by the Holy Spirit( instructions from the ground station).
Even though the Bible was written by different authors in different periods of time, we can find coherence between the books in the Bible. Every book in the Bible is interconnected. This is another proof to display that the main author was the God Almighty and all the 40 authors were led by the same Holy Spirit.

Do you know that the Holy Bible was the first book that was 'printed'? Yes! It was. You could find the geneology of people told in the Bible which other Holy books fail to tell. This gives a proof that the Bible is not a story book that was written through imagination!

The Bible is not 'something' that was printed in black ink on white paper. It's the truth and it's God's word. The words in the Bible are pure without impurity. Absolutely, no human error has crept into the book of God's word.

The words of the Lord are pure words, like silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times. (Psalm 12:6).

Bible is not a book that is supposed to be kept in libraries or in home shelves or inside the locker since it is a Holy book. This book is something that has to be kept in the HEART.

Let not mercy and TRUTH forsake you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart, and so find favor and high esteem in the sight of God and man. (Proverbs 3:3,4).

This Bible book is filled with prophecies about the future of the world as told by God ordained prophets not by their will but by the Holy Spirit.

Knowing this first, that no prophecy of scripture is of any private interpretation. For prophecy never came by the will of man, but Holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit. (2 Peter 1:20, 21).

The Bible teaches us the kind of life that we are supposed to live, making us righteous to live according to God's will and eligible for eternal life.

All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16,17).

How should we read the Bible?!
We are supposed to read it with faith.
We are supposed to read it with Godly fear. We have to read to obey.
We should read to share!

We are going to be judged in the heavens only by God's word!! Not by sword but by the word of God.

For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12).

The word of God will cleanse us, sanctify us and qualify us. This 'treasure book' will make us a special treasure in God's sight. Let the Word-God who became flesh be born in your hearts! Amen! GBU!

How sweer are Your words to my taste, sweeter than honey to my mouth. (Psalm 119: 103).

WHY ME....?!

Many times when we aspire to live for Christ and when we work with zeal and faith for God, we are put into tests. In pain we cry out asking 'why ME....?'. Sometimes we will not be able to understand the reason for our troubles. Our hearts begin to analyse our deeds and they keep trying to prove innocent. But who are we to doubt God's ways?!! Oh no!!

When i consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have ordained, what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of man that You visit him? (Psalm 8:4).

My dear child of God, are you sitting in the ashes and asking to yourself, "why did this happen to me?!...., Ow! why did I lose my dear one?!". Let me remind you the life of Job.
Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity. (Job 2:10).
Job lost everything including his loving children. Job never did understand why he had suffered; he felt bitter, but he never turned away from God. Job was convinced that someday, God would rescue him. He was sure that oneday God would bring to limelight his innocence.
I know that my savior lives, and at the end He will stand on this earth. My flesh may be destroyed, yet from this body I will see God. Yes, I will see Him for myself, and I long for that moment! (Job 19:25-27).

Think about the life of Joesph. He was hated by his brothers, put into a pit for no reason, sold as a slave , accused for a wrong thing that he didn't do. But he knew that Lord will reveal openly that the almighty God is with him. The Bible says,
Until the time that his word came to pass, the word of the Lord tested him. (Psalm 105:19).

We cannot understand or doubt the ways of the Lord. We need to learn to praise and thank God for anything and everything that comes in our lives. Every time we go through loss, pain and suffering, we must strive to REJOICE. Joy is not necessarily the absence of suffering. It is the presence of God.~Sam Storms.
Let me tell you that My Heavenly Father is perfect in His ways! Always!!yes!!

Temptations and trials are WONDERFUL times to get closer to our creator.
Blessed is the man who endures temptation; for when he has been approved he will receive the crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him. (James 1:12).

Even if loss and situations have broken your heart into pieces, God is able to create a masterpiece out of your shattered life. So its too often in the details of life that we see God's beautiful work so clearly displayed.At times, we may be tempted to worry about things both big and small. But I say with sureness that we can rest assured even in the midst of the trials and challenges. God is able to work something in and through our lives, including the difficult areas, more beautiful than we ever imagined.

Hardships and challenges serve only to polish us! As said by Charles Spurgeon, Those who dive in the sea of affliction bring up rare pearls. At the times of trials we are supposed to sit and understand the power of our God in quietness.

Make us glad according to the days in which You have afflicted us, the years in which we have seen evil. (Psalm 90:15).

One word, one touch from God can change our lives. One look of God can change your situations upside down. Oh! All you who labor and are heavy laden, come to Jesus, the river of love! He will give you rest.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.(Philippians 4:7).

WHY DO 'WORSHIP CONCERTS' BECOME 'ROCK CONCERTS'?!

Nowadays, people who call themselves as christians hardly read the Bible. The christian world today is in a pitiable situation without knowing to discriminate the right and the wrong, the evil and the good as they fail to read the scripture. We see people with more 'fashion' and less 'passion'. Just because the country is getting westernized, we cannot take it for granted that everything that the world provides in the name of 'christianity' is Holy. THE THINGS THAT THE BIBLE CALLS AS SIN IS 'SIN'.
There is a great need for the spread of gospel and on the other hand a spiritual spanking is required. The scene that is created in the name of 'worship concerts' is pathetic. Its heartbreaking to know that the ONE who needs to be focussed and exalted is FORGOTTEN and its more pathetic when these people call themselves as 'God freaks'. 

We cannot keep playing in the fire guys!! The result is going to be miserable unless or until we walk according to God's word. There is mercy if we turn from our evil ways and sanctify ourselves allowing God to work in our lives. The Lord is compassionate and merciful(James 5:11) but most of us forget at times that He is the also called as the 'CONSUMING FIRE'.( Hebrews 12:29).

Worship is praising God with all our hearts, presenting ourselves as a living sacrifice before the Lord, laying our lives before Him and honoring the God who died for us, thanking Him for everything not just by lips but with FULL heart. Worship should be acceptable with reverence and godly fear.(Hebrews 12:28).
Certainly i say, we will be able feel GOD'S presence abundantly in this kind of worship and we will be filled with the HOLY SPIRIT. Worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness!!! (Psalm 29:2).The actions of a worshipper should come from a his/her dedicated heart.

Eardrum-breaking loud screeching music or eye-spoiling fancy lights or leg-fracturing dance are not compulsorily needed to worship the Lord!!! Nothing is wrong with the music or the lights or the dance. But worship can never become a performance.The problem arises ONLY when all those things become the focus and identity of a worship concert. The question is why do 'worship concerts' become 'rock concerts'?! I mean, why should they?!!

On the other hand, it's important to explore the lyrics before we listen to any 'so-called' christian music. It is important to cross check the lyrics and the person who sings it with the scripture before we listen to them.
If we spend more time in reading the Bible and understanding the scripture, then God will help us to differentiate the evil and the good. We will be able to say 'Hey! this thing is not of God!!', when His words abide in us.
Let us make one thing clear. We cannot follow the world and Jesus. We can never serve two masters.(Mathew 6:24). Let us be followers of people who truly follow CHRIST. Let followers of Christ be our inspiration, imitating Jesus in our ways. Jesus will help us to lead a Holy life! Yea!! If we choose to follow Jesus then there is no turning back!

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And donot be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.(Romans 12:1,2).

The Bible says its impossible to see God without Holiness( Hebrews 12:14). We will never be able to enjoy the eternal life, without living according to His will!!
"Not everyone who say to me, 'Lord, Lord', shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My father in heaven".(Mathew 7:21).
By no means I am trying to prove that i am extra Holy. I am not judging either. But i have Christ in me who is authoritative in His teachings and judging is His business!!

WHAT THE LORD SEES?!!

The Lord always looks for a leader whose heart(inward purpose) is in tune with His own. What would it be?! Like DAVID, it would be a young shepherd who loved singing psalms and skilled with the harp. More important, the shepherd's HEART was right.
People judge others by what they look like, but I judge people by what is in their hearts. (1 Samuel 16:7).
Time is never an obstacle to God. David even though he was anointed when Saul was on the throne, he shows no impatience to assert his right to the throne. He remains loyal even when abused. He knew that God will keep His promises on schedule.
God fulfills every letter of His promises to His loved ones in ways that are beyond our understanding. We can rest at ease knowing that God is always incharge of us. No evil plan can separate us from the love of God.
We must look deep into realism instead of accepting only the outward sense of things.
The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief corner stone. (Psalm 118:22)
People, the world used to regard as "outsiders" turn out to be God's finest "insiders". See how David was treated. He was not even invited by his own family to the feast. He was forgotten and considered insignificant. But God didnot forget Him. He knew his heart and so He chose him to be the king of His own people.

So dont judge anyone until the Lord returns. He will show what is hidden in the dark and what is in everyone's heart. Then God will be the one who praises each one of us. (1 Corinthians 4:5).

The Lord was the one who chose Moses even though he was slow of speech and slow of tongue. He chose Paul who was once Saul. Depend fully on God and delight in His word ALONE!!

I pray that God, one who gives peace, will make you completely Holy. And may your spirit, soul and body be kept healthy and faultless until our Lord Jesus Christ returns. The one who chose you can be trusted, and He will do this. (1 Thessalonians 5:24)

God has chosen the weak things of the world to put to shame the things which are mighty. (1 Corinthians 1:27).
The one who brought us out of the horrible pit and miry clay, will set our feet upon the rock. Learn that just as time doesnt limit God's plans, neither does anything else.God can use the most ordinary things to get His work done. He can use you too!!!
Never try to project yourselves better than you are 'actually'. Come to Jesus just as you are. He is our master and He will qualify and mould us to fulfill His will.
As He says in Jeremiah,
"O house of Israel, can I not do with you as this potter?" Says the Lord. "Look, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are you in my hand, O house of Israel" (Jeremiah 18:6).
As Ron Kenoly sings, "If You can use anything Lord, You can Use me!!".

DID WE DO OUR BEST?!

I have heard people using this phrase- 'If it is God's will' in everything they say. Sometimes, I wonder, do they actually mean it when they say. If only what God thinks happen, then what is this 'free will' mean. How can this free will of humans coincide with God's will?!
We are given right to choose a dress of our choice when we go to a boutique. We are allowed to order a food of our choice when we go to a restaurant. These little things of the world, has nothing to do with God's will but still nothing is hidden from Him and He knows everything we do and He knows our thoughts too.
We are called for an eternal life. This life is not permanent.
As for man, his days are like grass; as a flower of the field, so he flourishes.
For the wind passes over it, and it is gone, and its place remembers it no more.
(Psalm 103: 15,16).
But what we do for Christ will last forever. We were made by God and for God and until we understand that, life will never make sense. If we know God exists, then we ought to show it with our lives. The reason why God took that cross is that He wanted everybody (yea, everybody!) to experience and understand His love for mankind. His love lasts forever.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten son that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16).
I am sure, if you get to know what Jesus has really delivered you from and the eternal life that He has promised, you will not be able to sit idle without doing something for Him. Life isn't about finding yourself. Life is about knowing your Creator.
Sometimes you have to let go of your dreams and desires to follow Jesus. But He promises to give the best in all your needs. I remember a song that i used to love and sing when i was a kid. But it has taken these many years to understand the words and to live accordingly.
This little light of mine
I m gonna let it shine!
Let it shine, let it shine, let it shine!
Yes! We are the light of the world. Let us not hide the love of Christ in us. Christianity is all about sharing. Let us not cheat ourselves by saying 'God's will' and not living as we say. Saying and doing are never the same!! It is easier to preach than to live.

And donot be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (Romans 12:2)

Let our hearts be fully yeilded to God. Let us use every oppurtunity that is given to share the gospel. Let our lives reflect Christ - in our words, in our deeds, in our thoughts and in everthing we do.

My dear child of God, let this question trouble you - "Did i do my best to live for Jesus?!".He took the nails for you and me!

THE SONG OF THE BROKEN

When we walk through loss, suffering and pain, it is not easy to sing out loud. It is not facile to have our hopes lifted high. The intensity of pain blots out any promise and hope of restoration. Our hopes get dried up and our songs too. How can we sing to the Lord in the wilderness?! How indeed!!
Suffering and loss change our mentality. At times, we will not be able to even stand up.
The Bible talks about two people who were in severe persecution- Paul and Silas.They were servants of the Most high God. They were chained to heavy blocks of wood, beaten badly and put in jail. But nobody could rob their hopes or their songs. They were praying and singing praises to God while other prisoners listened.

Anyone can sing in seasons of happiness and great blessings, but only those who know who their God is will be able to sing in pain and suffering.
My dear friend, did you lose your song and hope?! Do you miss people lost through death? Your sorrow will melt into joy.Let God's word bring hope! :) There is season of glory for children who trust in the Lord. God is able to heal any broken situation.
Can anything separate us from the love of Christ? Can trouble, suffering, and hard times, or danger and death? (Romans 8:35).
We are more than conquerors because of Christ who loves us.
Return to your fortress, you prisoners of hope; even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you.(Zechariah 9:12).
When things get difficult it is easy to give up. It is easy to lose your hope. But that is not what God is expecting out of us. He wants us to be prisoners of hope! Break the chains of fear, doubt and worry and be chained to HOPE!
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart- these, O God, You will not despise.(Psalm 51:17).
The Lord will help you to pass through any situation safely. Trust in His word! He will put a new song in your mouth. Sing unto the Lord. He is real and you can trust Him. Though questions fog up your mind, believe Him. In brokeness you can see that this was His will for you. His hand will guide you every day.

Sing when troubles chase you;
Sing like never before;
Sing even in pain;
Sing even when it hurts;
Sing because you know who your God is;
Sing because He understands;
You are not alone. Your FATHER walks with you!
Even though the path is broken,
Your journey is to the GLORY road!

JOY IN FORGIVING

"Will God forgive me?" Is a question that trouble many people today. The world is behind people and places for their deliverance from sin and curse without knowing that there is someone who has shed His blood for them. Here is the good news! All the blood in the body of Jesus was shed for you and me. Yeah!! Every drop! Atonement for sin requires the shedding of blood. The blood of Jesus is the fountain of salvation. His sinless, precious blood was shed as the propitiation for our sins. He is the only one who has the right to forgive the sins of the world.

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9).
To be forgiven one must be ready to confess. If we truly repent, Jesus forgives all our sins and His blood cleanses all our dirtiness. Accept Jesus as your savior and believe that your sins are forgiven through His sacrifice. God loves us so much that He made the condition so simple-'BELIEVE'. You dont have to feel guilty about your past sins. Jesus paid it all on the cross. You are a new creation!
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! (2 Corinthians 5:17).
He remembers our sin nomore.
As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. (Psalm 103:12).

We have power over sin because Jesus paid the ransom. All we owe now is "our faith that makes love others"(Galatians 5:6). Its important to forgive others as we have been forgiven by the blood of Jesus.
And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you. (Ephesians 4:32).
As Martin Luther King said, "Darkness cannot drive out darkness; only light can do that. Hate cannot drive out hate; only love can do that".
Forgiveness is not always easy. At times it feels more painful than the wound we suffered, to forgive the one who inflicted it. And yet, there is no peace without forgiveness. Let us have the love of Christ in us. Nothing compares to the joy and peace that comes into our hearts when we forgive others. Let us never judge people by saying what they did was wrong, for we have countless shortcomings in us.

The forgiveness we have received is priceless. We are certainly undeserving. Even though we have nothing good to repay for all that Jesus has done to us, let us try our best to imitate Him in our lives. Though we cannot die for Him, we can die to ourselves and live this one life for Him! For Him alone!! Amen!

THE INNER MAN

We possess a reasoning capacity(intelligence) and a moral capacity(conscience). God created man possessing both the body and the spirit. There is a part of everyone of us which is made in the image of God. It is the inner man, the part of man which God looks upon.

So God created humans to be like Himself. (Genesis1:27).

"It's human nature!" You have often heard that excuse for someone's bad behavior. But here we are told that God created us, "to be like Himself". But something went wrong(Genesis chapter3) because bad behavior isn't just human nature.
The good news is that God is always ready to do what He did in the beginning. He will create you all overagain "to be like Himself". You need to be born again!
To be 'born again' is an idea that baffles many people today. The nature we are born with can't truly appreciate God or His ways. By dying as a sacrifice for our sins Jesus destroyed satan's power over us and made it possible for people to live in obedience and peace with God.

....Lord looks at the heart. (1 Samuel 16:7)

Since God looks on our hearts we should be more concerned with our souls than our bodies. We should give more importance to take care of our hearts than to maintain our hair, physique etc.,

What will you gain, if you own the whole world but destroy yourself? What would you give to get back your soul? (Mathew 16:26).

We find importance in enhancing our outer man, but we forget to prepare our hearts for the one who sees and knows every thought.
Let us be honest, submissive and obedient to all God's commands. Let us become people "after God's own heart" like David.

I have died, but Christ lives in me. And now i live by faith in the son of God, who loved me and gave His life for me. (Galatians 2:20).

The above verse doesn't talk about physical death but it is talking about the actual death of our inner principles of living, which are opposing to the principles of Christ.

Let us get rid of our sinful nature and renew our salvation everyday.

He who is righteous, let Him be righteous still(Revelation 22:11).

We cannot take pride in our righteousness because we are guilty ones and deserve nothing but hell. It is because of His sacrifice and His love we stand blameless and Holy.

Let us say to the Lord,
Search me, O God and know my heart; try me and know my anxieties; And see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting. (Psalm 139:23,24). Amen.

GET ON YOUR KNEES

Prayer fuels mission and propels it forward. Prayer is as the tip of arrow that pierces and opens the way for God's presence and His purposes to penetrate in to your life. 

Prayer is referred as the spiritual breathing of Christians. If you are a christian and if you don't have time to pray, then you can call yourself as a spiritually dead person. I am sorry for being so harsh but i am trying to put the idea that PRAYER TIME is very important for a God's child. You can face the world better if you find time to get on your knees. 

when You start giving time to Jesus, You will find changes in Your life. Nobody will be able to separate You from His love. Nobody can stop the blessings God has planned for you. You will be an OVERCOMER!!

The Bible says,

The prayer of the righteous man is powerful and effective.(James 5:16)

The above verse explains the necessity of a person to be righteous to get his prayers answered. You need to be acceptable(Holy) to see miracles in your life.

"Make yourselves acceptable to worship the Lord, because He is going to do some amazing things for us".(Joshua 3:5)

Before we make our own decisions on important issues of life, we need to get on our knees before God and find out what God wants us to do and then proceed accordingly.

"CONTINUE earnestly in prayer, being vigilant in it with thanksgiving".(Colossians 4:2).

Thanksgiving and prayer go hand in hand. Its necessary to obtain God's mercy everyday. Its important to be grateful for what God has done for us every second. 

Words cannot express my appreciation for sending His son to die on the cross for me. And not only did He make a way for me to receive forgiveness of my sins but also to have my friendship with Him. And through prayer, my relationship and friendship with My God gets more intimate. I am singled out by my creator!! Amen!

Prayer is the best way of establishing communication with Your creator.

THE LORD IS YOUR HELPER- A DREAD WARRIOR

But You have seen, for You observe trouble and grief, to repay it by Your hand. The helpless commits himself to you; You are the helper of the fatherless.(psalm 10:14)
Nothing that is happening to you is a surprise to God. He knows what you are into today and where you are going. He never forgets You and your situation. He is a God who never sleeps nor slumbers. He never forgets the humble. He knows because He knows the way of the righteous. You don't have to lament saying, "My ways are hidden from God". Nah!!
There is an incident in the Bible where the people of Israel were facing an impossible situation(crossing the Red sea). God told them, " Hold your peace, remain at rest and I will fight your battles".
The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace and remain at rest.(exodus 14:14).
It is the same for us today. If thoughts of fear, worry or anxiety are trying to steal your peace, listen to the God's command this very second - Hold your peace.
If you will just stay in peace, the creator of the universe, the most high God will go to work on your behalf. The almighty God will be your helper.
Nothing can stand against our God. He has all power. He stopped the sun for Joshua. He worked for Ruth. He closed the mouths of the lions for Daniel. He divided the Red sea and made a way. He helped Esther who was an orphan but was lifted up as a Queen. He lifted Joesph who was sold as a slave, put into a pit but he was lifted up and was made the governor over Egypt eventhough people accused him falsely. He made David a king, who was looking after sheep. He is the same and never changes!
The Lord will be your sheild. He never hides His face from those who seek Him truly. Be firm in your faith. The Lord who is with you and me is BIG!!
Happy are you, O Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by the Lord, the sheild of your help and the sword of your majesty!(Dueteronomy 33:29).

If you are saved by the Lord, say boldly along with me,"The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?" ( Hebrew 13:6).
Commit yourself to Him and humbly say to Him as Mary said, "Be it unto me according toYour word".

The Lord goes before you and makes all the crooked places straight ( Isaiah 45:2).
The one who called you will never leave you until He fulfils His promises in your life. Humble yourself and continue doing what is right. He will make your righteousness go forth as brightness and your salvation as a lamp that burns. Yes! He will not rest or hold His peace for YOUR sake. 

Be happy, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.The Lord is with you as a dread warrior(Jeremiah 20:11). He will be your HELPER!! Hold on to His promises. Amen!

GO IN PEACE!

"She was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to the Lord and wept in anguish" (1 Samuel 1:10).
She was a brokenhearted women named Hannah. She was in terrible pain at heart as the Lord had closed her womb and she didnot have children of her own. People around her made her feel miserable about not having any children.
Hannah was inconsolable and was crying as she prayed. She poured out her heart to the Lord, making a vow to let her child serve all the days of his life, if God answered her petition.
She received God's word through a man named Eli, the Lord's priest.
Eli said to Hannah,
"Go in peace, the God of Israel grant your petition which you have asked of Him"
Hannah believed God's message completely and her face was no longer sad. Look at her faith!!
According to her faith, she was blessed with a son and she dedicated him to serve the Lord as promised.

The Lord not only hears your urgent prayer in the way we usually mean- but His hearing can mean that He agrees with your request and grants it. This was how the Lord heard Hannah's brokenhearted prayer.
The Lord is same even today and He hears you too!! He knows the anxieties and longings of your heart (psalm 37: 4,5)

Every drop of tear you shed, the Lord stores in His bottle. (Psalm 56:8).
His ears are open to your cry. He says to you today, "Go in peace, your request is granted".
Receive His promise through Faith.
And whatever things you ask in prayer, beleiving, you will receive.(Mathew 21:22).

When you work, you work.
When you pray, God works!

GOD'S GENTLE SPIRIT

Some days we go through hard times and we cannot determine things happening. We have a tough time figuring out what to do in certain situations. Paths aren't clear always, are they?!
You are my God. Show me what You want me to do, and let Your gentle spirit lead me in the right path.
(Psalm 143:10)
When you donot know the way to move forward and when you struggle to make decisions, remember this verse. Ask God to lead you and ask Him to light your way. It is His gentle spirit who will lead us.
When you seek God's direction for your life, be prepared for His gentle spirit. Make yourself holy to hear His voice. The Holy spirit will not compete with the noise and bustle that comes when we try to chart our own course.
When you ask for God's leading, stop your own frenzy and quiet yourself so that you may hear His gentle spirit. Find rest in His presence. It is in the shadow of His presence we find purpose!
Commit your ways to the Lord (psalm 37:5) and He will direct your paths.(proverbs 3:6).
Seek Him diligently! Delight in Him alone and you will be able to hear a word behind you saying, "THIS IS THE WAY, WALK IN IT". (Isaiah 30:21).
God will always honor you if you ask for His desires to happen in your life.
There is nothing better than God's best, isn't it? Prepare yourself to recieve His best! You are Blessed! Yeah!!

IT'S A PROMISE!

If you are someone who is waiting for a miracle to happen, then take your time to read this post.
If you would like to live a supernatural life, then you must know the supernatural power-God Almighty. It's not about knowing Him alone, it's also about knowing the things He has promised for His children and the miracles He is able to perform.
The Lord has promised to never leave you nor forsake you.This single promise is astonishing enough, but there are thousands more in the Bible.
The Bible says, there is nothing impossible with God. Do you believe its true?!....The promises are available for those who dare to tap it, take it and live it.
Life is not a snapshot to view things happen all of a sudden. But you gotta know one thing for sure, if God promises you something He doesn't do it for a joke. He promises only to fulfil.
It's your FAITH that counts!
Believe His promises are true even when things are upside down. Even if it seems like things are not gonna happen, trust God completely. Even if it tarries, they will surely get fulfilled, when you stay in faith.
Faith that is not tested, cannot be trusted.
Jesus is someone whom you can trust completely and blindly. His thoughts and plans are higher than your imaginations. His words are always true. He will bring them to pass in your life.
Rejoice in the Lord always!
You will see the BIGGER PICTURE for sure!

JESUS - THE EVERLASTING HOPE!

When we greatly miss someone,their love, their care, their friendship, their presence, their guidance, their comfort and lot of things that we are supposed to get from them, who have gone ahead of us to heaven to be with God, what can give us or replace their love, what can bring us hope?!!
Here is the answer that completely provides an undeniable explanation to all those questions that fogged up my mind lately. I found it in the Bible.

Now let me tell you the answer.
We have a champion(JESUS) in heaven and He is the one who conquered death. Therefore because He lives, we have a certainty that our dear ones are also living with Him. One day there will be a celebration unlike any before. We will be reunited with the ones whom we love when Christ brings them from heaven. (you may refer 1thessalonians 4: 13-18)
I am not a martyr of hopless. My God is the LIVING God. He reminds me continually that I am His child and He will never leave me alone. In joy and sadness, in life and death- He is closer than anyone from whom i can expect everlasting, untiring love. OMG!!! how wonderful it is to experience the love of JESUS. He is the everlasting HOPE of my life forever! Amen!!

A ROADWAY IN THE WILDERNESS

Imagine the life in the desert. Think how it would be, if you are all alone in the wilderness with the sand and the hot sun as your companions. Everywhere you look its the same and there is no hope for you to find the way.
In the midst of the life that seems to be a desert, are you able to visualize a road, when you don't even find a footprint?! Will you be able to stretch your faith to this extent? If you can see the roadway in the wilderness with your eyes of faith, then God is ready to make it for real!
When you come across situations of emptiness and hopelessness, don't let your faith go.
Trust Jesus with all your heart. Trust Him even if it doesn't make sense. No matter how empty your life is, no matter what people tell you, God is not finished with you yet.
God works all things for good for them who love Him. He takes the good and the bad and makes something beautiful come out of it.
If my God can make a roadway in the wilderness, I am sure God can answer your problems that you are facing in your life. All that God asks you is to 'believe' to see His glory. Just put your faith in Him and He will work on your behalf.
Keep believing! My God will never let you down!

FEARFULLY MADE!

I will praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; marvelous are your works and that my soul knows very well.
Psalm 139:14.

Everyone in this world is created in God's image. I am created in God's image! Each one is brought to this world with a purpose.

I am highly inspired by the word " fearfully" in this verse. Think! What would be fearfully made? Something that is precious, valuable, important and highly useful.
Here, it is 'YOU' who is fearfully made...which means You are someone who is really precious, valuable, important and highly useful!! You are put in this world with a purpose. You were not created by an accident because God doesn't make junk.
The Lord was very cautious in creating you with a purpose. People keep running after someone who would predict their future. They lose the idea of who their creator is in finding who they are! Remember! Everyone is created with a perfect plan as he/she is fearfully made by the hands of the almighty.
I am fearfully made by the Living God!! My soul knows it with no doubt. Does your soul know it?! If not, let it know today.

BLESSED BEYOND MEASURES

I am always fascinated by the word 'Blessed', as i have been hearing it from my childhood. But am i hearing it in the right way?
Blessed with family,
Blessed with beauty,
Blessed with riches,
Blessed with talents and skills,
Blessed with education and many more! All i heard was this!!
But are they ought to be called as real blessings?! Then what does 'blessed' really mean?!
Only a child of God truly knows what it it is to be blessed. Being blessed is to be happy and to lead a self-contained life all the time. But is it possible to be happy and satisfied all the time?! If not, then where do we find real everlasting happiness?!! Is there any such thing?
Yes! There is. True happiness can be experienced only when you make God, the Creator as your dwelling place. We have to get to the end of ourselves and pave way for God in our lives to be really blessed. And this can happen only when we are ready to transform our lives and allow Holy spirit to dwell in our lives.

Even when the world calls you unlucky, you can call yourself blessed, if you know who your God is and if you have an intimate friendship with Him. You will understand that the happiness the world gives you, may be your ambition or passion or dream or achievements, is fake and temporary when you find the Way to Real happiness. You may sometimes fail in accomplishing your goals in the world but you will be called as 'The BLESSED of the Lord' when you walk with God and meditate on His word day and night.
Which is better? To be called 'lucky(fake)' or 'Truly Blessed'?

If you have Jesus in your life then why don't you call yourself happily as Blessed?! Blessed beyond measures!!
Oh! Yeah.
I am not lucky, I am BLESSED!!

Lord! Your GRACE is enough!!

THE BOOK OF GALATIANS

The Holy Bible is full of promises God has made. God has promised that nothing can seperate us from His love. There are hundreds more in it.
Since i love talking about Faith, i presented a few points in a nut shell from GALATIANS, a book in the Bible.
Here i go....
◆ Faith is the only way for one's salvation. And i have recieved the God's promise by FAITH. And i have got no doubt about what my own faith means to me!
◆ Never try to please people. If you are doing that, you can never be a servant of God. Please God!!
◆ Let your message directly come from God. Never seek for intermediaters!
◆ Even before you were born, God has chosen you. Your future is prefectly planned!!
◆ Your work in the past and future would not be for nothing.

◆ Faith along with obeying His law is the only way to please God.
◆ You are God's people and you will be given what He has promised.
◆ A little yeast can change the whole batch of dough.
◆ If you are guided by the God, you won't obey your selfish desires.
◆ Don't be conceited or make others jealous by claiming to be better than they are.
◆ If you think you are better than others, you are wrong. Do your own work well and then you will have something to be proud of. Don't compare yourselves with others and carry your own load.
◆ All that matters is whether you are a new person or not!!
